Wondrous Moments
“Blessed be the LORD God, the God of Israel, who only doeth wondrous things.” Psalms 72:18 of the King James Bible
Wondrous prayer moments are God’s great gift
propelling my heart for triumphant lift
with welcoming peace of divine leisure…
toward task-fulfillment midst time so swift
Finding wondrous joy in simple pleasure
like my child’s mirth that money can’t measure
prospers me with wellness and health-delight…
bringing sweet cheers marked by caring treasure.
Staying jubilant is my wondrous plight
trusting the Lord against gloominess’ blight
conquering selfishness and rudeness-clout…
such is daily goal for spiritual might.
Worshipping with wondrous gratitude shout
my vibrant faith in Christ overcomes doubt
even when guilt attacks to create rift…
still I worship, vanquishing haughty pout.
