Afflicted grievously my whole being was invaded with loathsome sin-cancer cells I was conquered by fatal pride's virus verily smitten… yes, spiritually sick was I… Forsaking hypocrisy-denial’s stink, I yielded to God, crying for His healing* confessing my need for the Saviour’s cleansing blood of miraculous complete cure toward triumphant transformation. Midst grievous terminal stage of soul-debility God, life's Source, reached down to me with His wondrous love restoring, reviving me by His peace-filled pardon. Receiving His life eternal grant through faith I'm freed from death-hell's wages of sin-cancer's indictment re-created to serve, exalting Christ I’ll bring others with soul-ailment to Him for them to delight in His eternal healing freedom. Indeed, He offers wondrous soothing you and I can trust… assuring marvelous comfort while gently laying His aid, poetically presented: “Use my oil and mill my seed My healing powers are all you need.”**
*Jeremiah 17:14 Heal me, O LORD, and I shall be healed; save me, and I shall be saved: for thou art my praise. **I am Me, Set me Free by Maria Williams March 5, 2020 2nd place, "Poetic lines from a Poetry Soup Poet - Maria Williams" Poetry Contest; Sponsored by Silent One; judged on 3/25/2020.
