Notes About The Poem

Wonder

Its all been said
flowers bloom and die in their beds
    those who judge others
      scream "search"
        never searching, all so certain
no wisdom lies in their heads
extremists march towards the same cross
              aflame in hate
as if they are all on a date
  hell's fate

A wonder of Nature the photos are! Nature is generous in granting us her beauties.. but human nature who is empty of every single depth, values, beauty never cease to stain even the stainless! A soul of depth, a poet of unique write as you are Arthur, I enjoyed reading your wonderful work of beauty! Deepest regards.

Love the pictures of the flowers but yes in beauty there can be hate and death.

The Bible teaches "Judge not lest ye be judged" and this is a lesson I try to remember. In the U.S., there are extremists committing hate crimes and they never try to see life from anyone else's perspective. Sad state of affairs and your poem takes the reader to the front lines. Well done, Arthur! Hugs, Carolyn

The beautiful flowers in contrast to expressions of hate seem so sad in this confusing world of ours. I will keep envisioning a world that realizes harmony. Have a happy Halloween Arthur. Blessings, Connie : )
