WOMEN YESTERDAY, TODAY INTO TOMORROW

Women’s History Month
It wasn’t easy for women in trying to fit with their male counter parts
Struggles maneuvering
Women were told they had no place in society
Laws changed in their favor, but it was a women’s fight that made it right
History formulated that women just didn’t measure up
Women’s movement began to organize and prove without a shadow of a doubt that women are conquers, possess self-esteem and can fulfill any task put before them
They just needed a chance to illustrate
The following woman achieved just that and, they are BARBARA JORDAN, DR. BETTY SHABAZZ, Widow of Malcolm X, Former Secretary of State and Senator
There are plenty more woman who had made a name for themselves, and there is still more to come in the future
A women’s theory is Education, Mission and Principles in aligning conquest with achieving
The success door is open and women are opening the doors

Anguish was a setback, but women’s inner courage cut the boundaries and showed capability
It was a triumphant effort combined with believing in themselves
I smell of aroma of new success in the mark, it is DR. PATRICIA RAMSEY, President of CUNY MEDGAR EVERS COLLEGE, DR. MRYLIE EVERS, WIDOW OF MEDGAR WILEY EVERS, ROSA PARK, ELEANOR ROOSEVELT, AMELIA EARHART and many others to follow in the wings
Assurance in the women’s hearts
Determination with an impact
Their contributions have risen in the sunrise
New horizons with a precise approach
Women are on the rise
Take notice
Perspective and Proactive
Achieving A to Z
Action, Ready and Shall
Give them an applaud
The best is yet to come.
