Woman With a Parasol

Feather steps made their way up the hill, They stood on the lush green grass, As she glanced back at me, Her eyes flowing with emotions not Known to the heart, And so did mine, The breeze tried to reveal her face, But the veil had its grip strong, The golden wind touched her white gown, Her grip on the parasol tightened, Her hair swayed in the wind, Stranger thoughts greeted me, Thoughts that were so long unknown, A fear returned, That let me to the wildest nightmares. I finally noticed the child, Confused at the sudden halt, I approached her as she extended her hand, I held it lovingly and cherished the contact....
