Woman, Life, Freedom

Woman, Life, Freedom… Woman, Life, Freedom… Woman, life, and freedom are the slogans. For each country, the people are its organs. We are part of a whole; we call it our world. Cruelty, tyranny, cannot be untold. The soil of land of Iran is full of filth. We need someone to plow and do its own tilth. Women, burning hijabs for people to see. Reminding to the world it’s time to be free. They cannot sing or dance; drinking is a sin. Their hair must be covered, and most of their skin. The land of Cyrus is now being plundered. Spent my nights awake, and I have wondered. What will be happening to it the next day? If we all close our eyes and look other way. They kill under the name of God and Islam They beat people and shoot them but remain calm. Reminding everyone, freedom is a must. Without it, we’re nothing, just a handful of dust. Haloo 11/7/2022 Note: The women of Iran are rising against the brutality of a regime depriving them of essential Liberty and basic freedom. This humble piece is written to honor them and give you the understanding that people are still dying under the name of God and religion.

The struggle continues and sad to not enough women outside Iran are giving you support. Brave piece written with passion yet words well chosen. Hope you are still close enough to get this. Sorry have neglected your work. I am five years cancer free, have a grandson aged five and identical twin boys due in August to my other daughter the eldest. Our only son still single. All three have good jobs. Peace be with you. Best regards David in NZ.Now 70

I read your emotion here Pashang..I don't think Its ( just black and white, as opposites though?) There is more..A fomenting of sensibilitys is Done 1st off as I read it.' In pursuit of perfction Humans get in spirals at times, there are those Who know this and exploit it ruthlessly.' Were Peoples righrs no assailed during the sic-demic? Was there bullying and coercion.? I saw it..demonising those who valued Choice..Its not too late to put thing back Yet can we confront the real threat.? Maybe.?

Denying freedom to women and forcing them to wear hijab and killing them if they viollated such unnecessary and inhuman laws are so brutal. Freedom is everyone's birth right. Your wholehearted support for the Iranian women's cause is much appreciated, Pashang.

It’s too sad and unbearable to imagine. Women must rise up . The oppression is unacceptable and inhumane. I stand with you Pashang . Your beautiful women whose hearts and intellects are full must have an equal voice . Sending prayers for a better tomorrow for the women of Iran .

Dear Pashang, may I reflect back to you, and upon your exceptional poem, your compassionate and insightful comment on my poem Girl With The Black Pearl Eyes; "The problem is very real and very sad... I'm glad you wrote this story." Thank you for giving voice to the oppressed women of Iran. There should be no oppression of women anywhere in the world! Indeed, "freedom is a must" for everyone equally and your last line punctuates its vital importance for a grand finale! How do women endure such inhumane treatment at the ignorant hands of men and how do men wallow in such ignorance as to perpetrate such inhumane treatment upon women? Humanity should be so much more evolved than this. Your poem and poet's note is a package of potent expression. Warmest wishes, my friend.. ~Susan

It's sad and I do imagine scary; how indeed, will it end. People kill in the name of God everywhere it seems; it never makes any sense, as if they think God will sanction the murders. Well worded testament to the plight of those women.

I pray to God that your women will have success. Surely if their men loved them , they would get support. It is heartbreaking. Keep up the good work fighting for their freedoms

Freedom is a basic human right, which must be defended at all costs. It's so very sad that the women Iran are struggling under such oppression. It is my hope and my prayer that Iranian women will win this struggle. Blessings, Evelyn
