Wolves Among the Sheep

You walk among the shadows
You stay just out of view
You're creatures of the night
You're asleep by mornings dew

For you each night's alive
You prowl while others sleep
You howl on top of hills
You're wolves among the sheep

You think you go unnoticed
Because you never see the day
but you leave a trail so clear
It screams to others stay away

You do not hunt alone
You live within a pack
nipping at the prey you choose
Until it can't fight back

You do this very well
It's how you live your life
Now others may not like you
But you're creatures of the night

This had a chilly feel to it...a sense of foreboding. One must be ware of such creatures. Thanks for your visit to one of my poems. God bless.
