Wolf Spirit
Dawn is coming....
but the light
doesn't shine on me,
it's hard to break through
my shadow.
I slide into the darkness
of the woods
before the sun is fully up,
I can always find
a place to dwell,
where there's shade
I shall always walk freely.
Being beneath the trees
my soul always quiets itself
(a little)
at times...
it feels
like I'm walking
with my brothers
dominating our domain,
where we pass
everything becomes surreal,
for no creature will stir
where the pack goes,
and though
I've drifted away
they're always there for me,
supporting me in spirit,
carrying me
like god in "Footsteps",
for far or near
the pack supports each other.
