Wokeism Gives Sister Bertina Peptic Ulcers

Lawd,lemme tell y'all 'bout Sister Bertina-
She used to sing them church songs so sweat
even sinners caught The Holy Ghost by mistake
She was the type keepin' peace in the block,
quotin' Scripture and stirrin' soup in the same breath.

But now-
She done found ''woke Twitter'',
and Lord have mercy,her stomach ain't been right since!
Every scroll,every hashtag,every cancel thread
got her heartburn flarin' like its Judgement Day.

She used to pray,
''Deliver us from evil'',
now she prayin';
''Deliver us from discourse!''

Used to clap in rhytm;
now she claps online,
arguing 'bout microaggressions
while her blood pressure learn new tricks

Every post be a sermon,
every argument a revelation.
She can quote Baldwin,bell hookss,and Beyonce
in the same breath-
but forget to breathe

Now she got peptic ulcers
from trying to fix the whole world
on an empty stomach.

I told her,
''Sis,even Jesus took naps,
even Harriet took breaks''
But she said,
''Not me chile'
I'm too woke to sleep!''

Now she drinks chamomile tea
with a side of revolution.
Her body protestin' her politics.
Her soul need Wi-Fi detox.

And when she finally whispers,
''Maybe love is the answer''
Twitter call her ''problematic''.

So yeah-
Sister Bertina's stomach hurtin';
but not from sin,
just from tryin' to swallow
the whole internet
