Without You

You are the disease, That caused my heart to bleed, That didn't allow me to be free, To see what life has instore for me. You wanted to be my demise, You tortured me as I sat there and cried, And when refused to put on your disguise, Your hatred grew along with your despise. You wanted to see me fail without you, But I got up the courage to make it through In the end I realized it wasn’t me, but you So I got up the strength to get over you.
