~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Heaven sent an innocent baby, a Son
One who would tell the world a story
About love, what true love has done
One who would reveal the way to glory.
Heaven sent us the answer to prayers
In the life who will bless our whole lives
With a peace that will end all our fears
A gentle that reassures of the love He gives.
Heaven sent the way, the truth, the life
Offering lost souls a kingdom of hope
Revealing grace that would end all strife
Making a way for the downhearted to cope.
Heaven sent us the Maker of all creation
Who would come to silence every doubt
With the promise of peace and salvation
The joy that reminds us what life is about.
Heaven sent a song to those who believe
He is the beautiful who is bigger than the sea
He is the light for the heart who might grieve
Without Him, I wouldn’t be the real me.
Heaven sent us the miracle who would save
With His love, there is true joy deep within
Because He arose from a shadowy grave
Filled us with courage by forgiving our sin.
Heaven sent down a still and solid friend
One who would silence all the fear I knew
One who would guide me until the bitter end
One whose love would make my heart brand-new!
Heaven sent us the hope that saves the soul
The gentle love who survives through all the hurt
The Savior whose kindness makes us whole
The Redeemer who brings grace to convert.
Heaven sent the most beautiful mercy I know
The amazing that assures me there is more
There is a wonderful beyond the gentle flow
His blood washed away the sins I once bore.
Heaven sent us the peace that surpasses all understanding
When we believe, within - a light glows and silences all concern
There is no reason to listen to the fear who keeps demanding
For now we belong to One who brings love we could never earn!
Without a doubt, this is love that fulfills every expectation
Without Jesus Christ, there would be no hope of salvation!
