Without

The things you said,
I question them all.
Did you build me up,
Just to watch me fall?
Were there real feelings,
Or was it all lies?
Do you even realize,
You made me love another guy?
While you showed me the wrong,
He showed me the right.
You disrespected me all day,
He appreciated me all night.
It's not as bad as it sounds,
I was still loyal to you.
But, when we broke up,
I knew what to do.
It's sad that it came to this,
But, there's no changing it now.
I've moved on with him,
And, you, I'm happy without.

Breaking free and valuing what matters and who treat you like you matter. Nicely done.
