Within Myself

We begin life learning character and self-worth
We venture inside and out self-esteem to understand
We then journey into life building on that sense of meaning
  
I will live my life …

Having learned ways down different paths
Having found what my life has to give and receive
Having resolved the choice of who and what I’ve become

Having …

Seen what is real now today and tomorrow
Seen where life can take me with time and growth     
Seen the results of my decisions open the right doors widely  

Seen …

Today as the time and place I will begin a new 
Today as the when to what and who I will be tomorrow
Today here and now as the where I will stand tall and proud

Today …

I stand here and look at the mirror image of me
I will look deep inside the mirror image of me and see
I move on looking through the mirror image having seen inside

Myself …

I will live my life… Having… Seen… Today… Myself…
