Within Her Song

Her musical style may have been avant - garde But her sad songs left ennui emotions and hearts scarred When she found herself within the lyrics of her song Her romantic elan diminished before long She had given him carte blanche to her heart But soon, a deja vu of broken dreams it did impart She thought that his love was bona fide But deep within an anomaly did reside A cacophony of musical notes echoed across baroque structures Where love's melody was but a dilettante allure ~ 1-14-18 Contest: Ten words ten lines Sponsor: Silent One
