Within Her Eyes

I saw two dolphins within her eyes Singing their best songs borrowed from the sea I stepped on the sun in brief surmise There could be rains between you and me. But the sky was a deep blue park The eternal couple's cushiest land In embrace they were out for the lark Pinions shed shadows on the sand. The night was spun with the threads of day As bright as the eternal glitter bird We stood still in the month of May And the dolphins stayed off-guard.
