Withered Layers
each withered layer unveils
one drowning fear after another-
barren souls seep becoming
an intimate revelation-
stark nudity becomes
her with each separation;
all-consuming sapphires
fill her soul with desires,
and all ebon masquerades
create a world that fades…
into an abyss of nothingness-
where only seclusion cascades
