Withered Away Flowers

Here is where my story begins
I live as a ghost of the past
All that bloodshed
Cannot be stopped

Flowers bloom
A flutter of hope, awaits us
Our future is determined by fate
The forest calls upon me
All that responsibility
weighing down on me

Follow the trail
A pretty flower is awaiting at the end
It blooms under the moonlight
That cold breeze
Sweeping through the wind
Look up at the sky

That red hue creates unwavering beauty
In the darkness it blooms
Forever destined to be undiscovered
Memories make me cry
As they come back to me
Tears rolling down
That hurt gaze
As I’m held by a leash

I’m a shadow of who I was
I can’t say no more
I'm too dangerous for the world
Trapped in a never ending dream

I forever remain
I pray to survive
That secret remains of who I am
I fade away
to that dangerous gaze
I'm a flower that has withered away
Come to bloom from hate
I fear no pain
Hold my hand
Until the end
You don’t get it
I’m fading away to this disease of human nature
There’s no ending to the flower’s reign
It’s like a countdown that never ends
I am like a ghost of the past
Born to be free
I rise from the ashes forever awaiting salvation.
Is that enough?
