Notes About The Poem

With You

Without you,
I would be a bird with no wings,
a garden with no flowers,
a picture never painted.

Without you,
I would be a chicken with no head,
a haunted phantom,
a wandering spirit missing you.

Without you,
I wouldn't be able to see the sun
on the sunny days,
nor the stars on the starry nights.

Because you are my window to look through,
my sea to sail on
and my singing robin at dawn.

With you,
I found my other half,
my travelling soulmate,
my greatest fulfillment in this life.

Your love is to be applauded, maria. Your love should be eternal.

Good afternoon Victor. We always look for an eternal love, but most of the times that's not the reality. Thank you for stopping by. Have a great weekend Victorxxxx
