With Verve and Charm

~ A Tribute to Carolyn Devonshire ~

              I think of life
                your eyes I see
              Brightly gleaming
                gentle and free

              You delighted us
                with verve and charm
              And took great pains
                to do no harm...

              Taken from earth
                you gently flew
              Beyond Eternity
                to Life renewed
