God has truly blessed me
With a gift so pure
A new generation
Built on love
I pray you are strong
That you dream
You love
You care
You are God's gift
For me to love
For me to raise
For as long as we live
You are my Angel
The apple of my eye
A part of my soul
My little boy
Not too much longer
Before we meet
To see you perfect
My heart will soar
You will be taught
You will learn
You will believe
You can fly
I will be by your side
When you laugh and cry
I will watch and protect
Always believing in you
From the moment
I knew you existed
My life changed
For the better
I dream of you
Of your bright eyes
Your beautiful face
And I wait
The sound of your heartbeat
Makes mine skip
The bumps in the night
Remind me you're there.
