With God
Dewy liquid softens the petals
Of a blushing pink rose, whispering
Kindness and affection through
Poetry that flows from its pores
Sweating hope through laughter
That lightens hearts and heals loss
With jubilant love ever after
Caressing thoughts with precious hope
Songbirds bring graceful elation
Singing melodies in light and love
Healing hearts with harmonic peeps
Peppering the soul with tender fancies
Hands caress the air, the blistering sky
As exhilaration blesses the prayers
Of all who come naked, weakened, to the throne
Where He listens to the voices of honesty
Life colors all the thoughts in hues of hope
Sensations so brilliant and alive with love
They light the realms of lasting faith
With joy, elation, feelings so sure
The heart knows the promises are pure
Passionate embraces from an angel’s kiss
Against the heartbroken moments of pain
That brings souls to bended knees of grace
Love breathes sincerity onto the spirit
Erasing all fear and worry from their feelings
Replacing the anxiety with faith and freedom
To give back to the world a piece of serenity
With God… there is hope, faith and love
With God… there is grace sent from above
With God… there is victory found in mercy
With God… I know that I am saved from ruin
