WITCHES

Wandering all alone,
Wary on Halloween,
Wishing I’d stayed at home,
Witches surrounded me
Waving their magic wands.
Were they trick or treaters?
Well no; now I’m a frog.

This is delightfully mischievous! The alliteration with “W” gives it a playful rhythm, and the twist at the end—“now I’m a frog”—is pure Halloween whimsy. It reads like a spooky limerick crossed with a cautionary tale: beware the witches, or you might croak! Congrats on the win!
