for a breath
of cold hope
among the trees
She is wishing
for a drink
of water for safety
in her home
She is wishing
to forget
the loss of her hope
through her head
She is wishing
to start over
and cleanse the past
of what has happened
She is wishful
of what is yet to come
for the future
so she can forget the past
She is wishful
to a new beginning
the ugly gone
with a breath of fresh air
She is wishful
wishful of wishing
having hope
of being hopeful
