Word Lyric #5 for Music “Wishing for Another Wish” Been wishing for the end of succumbing spring, Now counting the days to begin a summer fling, Wishing for a new start as time rounds the bend, I have red roses and white wine packed to send. I’m sitting in the crow’s nest at journey’s end. Try not to breathe loud as we struggle to finish, Sliding my suspicions to the other side of the dish, As usual, I’m wishing for another wish. Been wishing for an end to the usual thing, But I’m dancing now and dying to sing, Been working long everyday and stressin.’ I’m hoping and praying for your silent blessin’ As we glide from our table and across the floor, Gonna dance tonight until walkin’ out the door, Try not to breathe loud as we struggle to finish, Sliding my suspicions to the other side of the dish, As usual, I’m wishing for another wish. Been wishing for an end to suffocating summer, Now I’m waiting for my Mississippi belle, to come here, By bus in September she arrive’s with empty purse, From far and near, many cities and towns, quite diverse, But I’m in love with this beauty from Biloxi, My shady naughty lady with a ton of moxie. Try not to breathe loud as we struggle to finish, Sliding my suspicions to the other side of the dish, As usual, I’m wishing for another wish.
