Wishes
I wish I had the power to change you
To make you understand I am not who you had
To make you see I don’t need a dad
To make you see you are making me mad
That I need to have peace of mind
I am struggling to be me
To be who I am
And who you want me to be
I need to be me
I am crying out inside
I need to be me
I cannot change you
But you are changing me
I need to be me
