Wish Upon a Star
My heart beats out loud,
So far he can't hear
All i want is one wish upon a star,
To be there,
To be near.
To look in his eyes,
And know that he's mine,
Because i promise you
We've got nothing but time.
But life's not like that
So i'll shed a tear,
Watch as he leaves me,
My love,
My dear.
Now look to the star's
The die has been cast
He's not my future,
Only my past.
