Wish Upon a Shooting Star

a shooting star streaked 
tail of bright sparkling fireworks-
wind made whispered wish

I saw a shooting star last night; the sight filled me with awe. I’ve seen them before, but this was different. It shot across the sky breaking apart and dissolving;  reminded me of fireworks.
