Wish I Knew You When I Was Young
I wish I had known you when I was young
With poems to write and songs to be sung
Walks In the moonlight holding hands
Skinny dipping leaving clothes on the sands
Family to build knowing right from wrong
With memories brimming out keeping you strong
Love your hint of a dimple when you smile
Your willingness to go that extra mile
The squeeze of your hand meaning all is ok
I am not going anywhere, here to stay
Why did we let the years pass by
Why didn't we say. let's give love a try
