Winters Scent

Fall day ends drifting an off shore winters ocean breeze Salted sea scented air mixed with the freshly fallen wilted leaves Evening time where dusky sky merges blues to purple pinks Sunset shifts cloudless daydreaming snowy mountain peaks Cold incense inhaled chilled exhale as moon rises sun is spent Climates seasonal shifting the relentless winds wintery scent

I like the rhythm of this poem. It feels staccato when you say the words out loud. You have gone deep into the poets toolbox on this one and that is good.

Yes this was a fun and unique write that took my senses of a winter time into a dream escape. I am a snow bunny at heart so enjoyed the different ways of introducing feeling as well as scent. Thanks for taking the time to read and comment Richard!
