Winter's Magic

Close your eyes and breathe
With snow just a flurry
The winter evergreen
And the children scurry

Their faces all aglow
The soft twinkle in all their eyes
With snowflakes on their nose
And moms fresh baked apple pie

The children now fast asleep
Tired from their play
But please dear reader do not weep
We will play another day
