Winter's Loss

stardust lingers down my cheek,
eventide came soon and winter
has spoken

icicles dangle and snowflakes
descend onto barren fields-
for seasons change and so 
did my hope in all good things
to come

Winter equates to Barren Hope 21st December means we are heading back to Summer and life. Hope springs eternal
