Dear Sara, I know you have been enduring a harsh winter, but temperatures are warming up a bit now. I enjoyed the imagery in your haiku, especially the gray hinging clouds. Also this reminded me of how you refreshed your birdbath throughout the winter. You have a beautiful heart and work very effectively in the haiku form. Love, Carolyn

Wonderful haiku Sara....the brown color must be from gathering soil, leaves, and sticks left from a harsh winter

This may seem strange but I love the browns and grays . . . hanging clouds, the power of rushing water -- cold dampness . . . it hints of coming spring -- I love the haiku dearest Sara, 7 and a fav for me.

Your words make me feel the chill of winter which I am watching from my window as the snow keeps falling.
