Winter's Arrival

Wrapped in the whitest of robes
An icy crown on her head
Winter makes her grand entrance
The earth falls asleep.

Reads like a winner..I dread the coldest part of winter but I know that we need it to let everything in nature rest..Thanks for stopping by..I think that an oak tree comes nearer to sprouting if you crack the acorn slightly then plant it in a pot that just put the whole desolving pot in the ground..It takes a long time when they are buried in the soil for that outer shell to decay and let the seed inside begin to sprout.,..Sara

Thank you, Sara! I know most people don't like the cold of winter, but I look forward to it every year. Of course, I've never lived anywhere it was extremely cold, like up north. I get tired of the heat and humidity of summer.
