Wintering Tropics

The sun is long in it's shadows today spreading it's virtue 'cross my living room floor Generic beige carpet is suddenly enriched with luxury touching each fiber and stitch And here I'm lounged out - with my eyes closed just thinking about lion fish and their stiff poisonous spines when suddenly sunshine lifts cracks in my lids and turns them to colors of fresh oil slicks I dream. This day in winter is exactly what it should be Hello to the Tropics and hello to me...
