Thank you Andrea~the reality is that I was thinking about the coming of our winter solstice….so I had to compose even thought it comes Dec. 21st. But you are right, most people don’t really think about it. With the hustle and bustle of the holidays their thoughts are not planetary. Lol. Blessings, Paulette

As the earth farther away from the sun in its journey's orbit the angle of the sun seems to change but of course it is the earth's movement. I enjoy the sunlight coming through the windows in the afternoon which warms the house and moves everything seem to settle down. I enjoyed reading your creative work. Thanks for the visit to my page. Well, here, in Phoenix, it is our fun season, finally able to get out and do things -- no more sun to shovel. I remember back east winters well, after an ice-storm once a live power wire came down on the hood of my car, while I was stopped at a traffic light. The good old days:) Excellent write!
