Winter In the Scheme of Things

Everyone loves spring; the first green, sunshine,
The ecstasy of birth.

Summer; the earth is bountiful, days of splendor,
 ”The living is easy”.

Fall is about color; harvest, appreciation
and preparation.

Winter; icy beauty, a time of ardent emotion, reflection
And surcease.
The last season, like an only child, is
loved in the moment, and filled with
       hope for the future.

Interesting winter write. If entered in the contest, it should do well. Keep the magical pen flowing. Sara
