Winter Haiku String

it is coming back
the cold cruel touch of winter
be ready for it

the cold is coming
December’s winter solstice
start of the season

ubiquitous white
the snow is found everywhere
a wintertime scene

after the sun sets
darkness brings cold in winter
a typical night.
