I have always loved your haiku strings, Tom. This one is very special. Winter is so often seen as a time of death but in the same breath you have shown us its beauty and compassion in the remembrance of love. Congratulations on your win! Sending you warm winter blessings. Over Fork Over!

Talk about reaching for the dictionary, Mr. Cunningham!! --'Aquafoliacae?' Whew! ... Honk and hink made me laugh. You can reuse it in one of your awesome limericks. ~ Gershon

I like your 7-syllable word in the final haiku, Tom. Will I be able to use it in a sentence today? I think not, lol! I liked 'limpid stalactite' as a depiction of icicles forming. More lovely seasonal haiku from your fertile imagination. Warm regards, John
