Notes About The Poem

Placed Seventh in: 1425 Your Choice Footle or Footles Poetry Contest of Brian Strand

Winter Days

Short days
Dim Rays

Late dawn
Grey morn

Chill start
Cold heart

Earth white
Soft light

Dull sky
Blue eyes

White grace
On face

Road clear
No fear

Wind wild
Shoes styled

Lace tied
Inside

Ice glide
Free ride

Air bites
Outside

Night creep
Sweet sleep

Fantastic . A footle win. Congrats. I really wish I had done a series like all the other winners did. Not one winner was a single one!

Thank you, dear poetess, for appreciating the above footle poem, which was rather fun writing as it was probably the first or second attempt in this type. Wishing you the blessings of light.
