Winter Begone

~~~~ Winter Begone !! ~~~~ Oh, look, the wind is blowing and once again it's snowing, I haven't felt warm since November and clear skies, I don't even remember. Enough is enough, go away !! Winter, you've had your say but I'm sick of you now, take a final bow and get out of my life right away. I long for the warmth of Spring and the beauty that season brings. Flowers and birds, clear skies above, my favourite season, the one that I love. p.ussywillows, crocuses and more will gather outside of my door. Winter, please begone !! You've been here way too long and I detest you to my very core. example for my contest
Hey Francine, you get spring a lot sooner than we do; we wait till May sometimes and being tired of it just isn't strong enough. Enjoy your daffiodils in March and I will be jealous! :)
You poem is a fine example for your contest. Though l live in the tropics, it doesn't stop us from getting the colds that go along with winter. My granddaughter caught her first cold and my husband and l watch her while her parents work. We all got it, and the intestional flu too. I've been sick since second week of Dec. So writting a poem for your contest should come easy. Hope your weather warms up soon.
I enjoyed that story-so smooth and lively. It sounds like a contest with plenty of thoughts on our tongues to pore out.
