Notes About The Poem

Winter bears fruit

peace is the fruit of winter
that solitude cloaked in white
that silence hushed by the wind
the temperature that dips down low
the calm that isolates the heart
and gives it space for convalescing

Congrats! Every season has its saving grace. Growing up tropical, it's hard to appreciate any temperature under 25. Your poem has a nice lilt ... You made winter seem like it could be beautiful.
