Now the trees have lain down their emerald gowns,
and last night Jack Frost rattled my windows;
oh, there was a mighty blizzard of falling snow,
but in front of the fireplace I stayed cozy warm;
that night winter arrived.
And morning was full of sweet bird twittering,
everything looked so beautiful and magical;
the forest path was calling me to come,
those places that once held leaves, held snow.
Above the sky was azure blue,
snowflakes were moving, billowing and drifting;
I wrapped my cozy coat tighter,
and soon, I came to a wonderland park of snow.
