Winsome Smile

Somewhere there is a most winsome smile
Hiding behind the pain
Waiting to be unleashed upon this world
Like a torrential rain
Forming in the corners of your life
In your face your story writes
Somewhere in that life you live
Is a smile that makes hearts still?

One day in my day I’ll find
The mysteries of your happiness
And tame your anguish with such style
And joy will light your way
Until then I will love you until
My beating heart stands still
And every ounce of your pain
Leaves you and joy stays.
