Winners and Losers

a giant
with a spear
and a shield
and a army

a boy
with a rock
and a sling
and a god

a person
with a voice
and a song
and a spirit

a man
with a vote
and a will
and a power

a woman
with a love
and a passion
and a desire

a girl
with a dream
and a hope
and inspired

a god
with a son
and a heart
and an hour
