Wings in the sky
Clouds kept moving over clouds, eliminating all fears and doubt, it merges with the moon and the stars and erases the deceptive shadows that stand up in the dark, it was too good to be true, for everyone was waiting for you, there wasn’t one person that didn’t feel the pain, and there wasn’t one person that didn’t feel the shame. The sky understood it all and it absorb the midnight brawl.
The sprawling land that edges close to the sea, has room enough for thee, place ten thousand chairs there in the open air and get all the news anchor and journalists to meet me there; they must come from near and far and have something new and dynamic to share. The world’s weight is upon their head, and wisdom is crawling underneath their beds, the big sofa and the little teaspoon have nothing in common, but the position of the chairs and tables are significant to what you have to share for the culture of the east is turning up the heat.
Wings in the sky come and wrap your arms around me before I die; wings in the sky come and take me on a flight with you around the galaxy to listen to the people’s stories and when the moon eclipse, you will seal it with a kiss. You take long strides in the daytime, and you run errands at midnight; that’s the way the universe is set so that heaven can do the next best.
Wings in the sky protect me from the heat and cover as I walk the street and roll out the carpet to absorb the scorching heat. Tell me what your will is, tell me what you want from me, tell me that you are sorry. Lift me up to the moon and tell them that you will be coming back soon.
Build a massive tent in the valley and gather all the people from Cornwall, Middlesex and surrey, we are going on a retreat for thee, and we are going to cover all the ends of the sea until they set you free. Wings in the sky, you must meet with me before my spirit dies, calm the powers of the sea and still the shaking trees.
Put a smile on the people’s face and give them the hope and the courage to live again, spread your wings over us and end the tumultuous fuss.
Wings in the skies upon you our destiny lies.
