From time to time pops up a reminder,
to paint on the canvas, words that enchant
our heart and soul with melody kinder
than cacophony which ego does flaunt
betwixt carnal cravings that in dreams haunt.
In solitude we rest with bliss beats curled,
delighted as hues of love are unfurled,
layer by layer, revealing God's light,
so here we are, in but not of the world,
having so embarked on a wingless flight.
