Winged Sorrow

On a path straight into the hearts of all mankind,
and with all the rage of a lightning strike.
With descent into the very soul of man.
This angel evil and black.
with long hair down to the breach in her back,
and between the nook of her shoulders
are where her wings are housed.
This winged creature inhabits
all we hold dear and hold near.
For this lonely cause with a momentary pause.
Is simple in its guise and fool even the wise.
For as we are but still flightless in our journey still.
She invites us to live in her labrinth of lost souls.
With the fluterring and flickering in the distance of winged triumphants.
A parched and charred acount of all she is,
was and shall no more be onto thee.
This lady fair seeks your eternal company,
where she may hold you gentle in her arms.
and caress you so softly in the fold of her wings of sorrow.
