Winged Message

He gave to me a lovebird
to brighten my lonely hours.
Gift of love's embodiment
the key to my heart.

This is lovely! [Joyce use this as line 1 and the form sestina and you'll find it Part 1 When Madness Rides on Moonlight/The day passes into the weakest of loveless nights [there's part 2 too & I need to condense it to one page without loosing the "flavor of madness"] Light & Love

Delightful view of Cupid, Joyce. We could all use such a "lovebird" in our lives. This is quite a romantic entry and I wish you success. Did you know this poem is listed twice? Love, Carolyn
