Windsongs
Yes,he had known horizons far
And set music by some lone star--
Undimmed the longing in his eyes
For our windsong and distant skies.
I'm glad we walked a little way
Nor would I change one note today;
As it was, so it seemed planned
To bid goodbye, my sailor man.
