Winds of Peace

Here at the cross I find the reason
to carry on by your faithfulness.
The serenity upon your face guides me
forward within the human race.

You beckon me to my knees in humble
praise.
Adoration I sing from my lips to the one
worthy he was slain for me instead.

Death holds no more sting and the grave
has been loosed of its grip.
Eternal is the song of the Lamb's sacrifice
who brought to us the Love of God.

You crossed the great divide of life and death.
Led the way to the throne of grace and mediate
day and night before the father above for us.

Winds of peace flow earthbound from heaven.
With the assurance of your comforting words.
Lifting your children out of the darkness and
gathering us secure unto the light of your voice..

Blow on us winds of peace
Come winds of Holy Grace
Spirit of Truth enlighten us today
Let all creation worship the King of Kings.
